    Default James Paick Masterclass

    Hi guys

I took James Paick's Environment masterclass and loved it. I really learned a lot. Here are most of the works I did during the 8 weeks of the class. I'm sorry for the oversized images. I'm really curious to see the work from the other masterclasses.

      Hi Andreas,

The class was indeed good and the idea for this forum is great since we could be in contact through forums. Would you attend the second class for James this summer? for me i would love to but i have to practice more, i think it will be a bit heavy for me and i am taking some 3d classes.

I envy how comfortable you are with colors, i could not cope with colors!

        Hi Maryam

        Thanks!
Yes, I will be taking the 2nd course. Hope to learn as much as I did with the first one.

We all improved a lot, so I think everyone is ready for the 2nd take.

          Hi Andreas!

I agree this course with James was so much fun and I learned alot.

You truly are an amazing artist! These are so beautiful and you are right up there with Mr. Paick himself.

I haven't decided whether I'm taking the second one yet, I agree with Maryam - I feel like I still need to practice all the stuff I learned in the first course. But it's so tempting! Maybe I'll see you there!

          Great thread!

While the class may be awesome, it sounds amazing, you must be a very experienced artists to produce work like that, because nobody without experince in understanding of light and form, composition, perspective, and digital paintign can do these in 8 weeks. So my question to you is how many years experince do you already have, and also what are the images like from total beginners, as well as the experince from the beginners.

                          Default Great work

                          Hey Andreas,
Great work! Thank you for posting these images on the forum. We hope that more students from the other Master Classes will be able to post their work here as well. This forum ‘as maryamnademi mentioned is a way for students to keep in contact with one another and post some of the art that they are creating in between terms. Our next term starts in about a month or so and we want to make sure that you guys are still motivated and maintain the momentum from last term moving ahead. It's also a great way for students that have recently registered for Master Classes to get acquainted with their classmates before hand.

Thank you guys and we look forward to seeing you guys in a few weeks.

Hi Andreas. Thanks for posting your work - everything looks great. I took a look at your gallery and your environmental work was pretty damned good long before you even took the class. I'm wondering, what do you think you got out of the class? Where did it help you improve, specifically?
