Great stuff Cheo! And thanks for dropping by my sb!

If you want to have some fun with the focus and edges etc, maybe try to use harder once closer to the middle, especially next to the creature on the architecture! Keep going, great progress!

Hey dstrax - yah man! ur absolutely right... i dont spend a lot of time in studies... usually what i do is i take the piece im working on as a study.... there is so many things going on that i wanna be involved in all.... but i should take some time and just press the pause button, sit down in peace and just draw and practice certain things....
thanks for the advice, ill take it in to heart

The character in the last piece came out great!
only thing for now is that his nose should have some light hitting since its "out" of the face.

      Keep it up!

      Hey buddy!
great progress you busy bee! Seems that not only I am throwing stuff left and right

On the creature one - awesome progress, mate! Just on lill' thing. I could see the muzzle flash in the same color as the light is (blueish). Tis will give some nice color variation to it.

For the last one - LOOKS PRETTY GOOD, dude Is there a gap between the "portal" and the building? If yes I'd like to say that the scale is a bit off (imo). The building should be much bigger or much smaller (depends on what the building should be) Those this make sense? Maybe try to add some crisp and sharp elements in front of the char - this will give you a nice sense of depth.
But as usual, bro - just my 2 poor cents

      Keep pushing

hey bro! thanks for stopping by man! yah im still working those little details on the creature one. i made the middle ground dudes much darker and define more the head and the big creature in the very background.

for the last one....yah your def. right... i gotta push that building back with some atmosphere.... its supposed to be at least 3 times taller than a human...right now it looks like 6 feet lol..... thanks for pointing it out man! it means a lot when ppl give me advice and positive critique.... i try to feed on it!

WELL.... tonight i got a security gig....seems like an easy one so that means ill bring my sketchbook... i bought some pens... so im gonna try to be most of the night/morning sketching with pen trying to polish and get used to that world a little more... will post scans later on .........till the next peeps.

on the 2 last paint with enviro+chara , there is something a bit weird , on the GoW-like with dragon painting , the enviro is stunning , really really very pro, but the charas looks a bit dull compare to it , next one the chara is super-great but the enviro is not as good as him . My critic woud be to work more on having a equal quality on both side ( enviro and chara) . Obviously you have the skills to do it as u're great in chara and enviro !

      ^^

      good luck

@alextooth - hey man thanks for the comment, im glad u like it... yah on the one with just 1 character im like super struggling with it so right now i pretty much destroyed the background and making a new scene.... kinda the same palette but something different going on.... on the characters one...what the "bloom" effect? i think i might just add like a simple gradient of value in the back....idk we will see

@asahi - hey buddy thanks for stopping by.... yah im having a problem with those characters... i guess i have not found that middle sweet spot in between char and environment.... i enjoy both.... but still experimenting....

thanks again for the crits guys....u dont know how much it means see u guys around!

Hey Cheo! Love what you've done with the FPS style illustration. Really feel the heat going on! Also - some really cool ch-r designs, too. Joy to watch your progress, dude
