Default Your introduction here.

I figured we should have one of these.

So introduce yourself, how life has been treating you terribly/wonderfully as of late, and feel free to attach any doodles or photos just for the fun of it. XD

I'll start since I initiated the thread.

Name is Jingna, aka zemotion at most places. Living in Singapore, sunny island with one season for four.

I love CG but I can't draw. I'd have loved to become an illustrator. Didn't happen but I love my current job as I see beautiful women and clothes and get to create beautiful images.

I was an air rifle shooter for 6 years before I went fulltime in photography. In this same period I managed works for some asian artists and met a great deal of wonderful people in the games industry on this side of the hemisphere.

My childhood dream was to become a gundam wing zero pilot but being a shooter was the closest I ever came about. My attachment shall be a photo for proof because jeffsimpsonkh does not believe my words.

That's all for me.

*edit*

New & looking for something to do?

Participate in the Bi-Weekly Drawing Jams and improve together with fellow hubbers.
And check out our awesome awesome awesome Sketchbooks.

Now knock yourself out.

    I look like this

I'm thinking I should move to the U.S. someday, but we'll see what happens.

Name is alex, 25, living in socal (san diego), sunny state with one season for four.

I've worked in games and consumer electronics doing everything from concept art to corporate branding and user interface design.

Currently I'm working at Rockstar Games (san diego) as a designer/interface artist.

I love art, but i'd rather be dancin'.

I was an administrator at eatpoo.com during its heyday, but ditched after the place got too crazy.

Right now I host a pretty low key forum which was started for a bunch of artist friends of mine to keep in touch, but after opening it up publically we got a pretty nice crowd going on:

      cloudNINE

      my website is

      redbeardead.

which is a "project" i'm currently working on... but is really mostly a sandbox for experimenting with ideas, concepts, artwork, writing, etc etc.

i love flash. i love good design. i love illustration. i love love love dirtydisco music with heavy basslines.

      but mostly, i love you.

      Yay we have people replying!

      Keep it going guys~

      And just for responses --

silk: Yes, I suppose you can take out someone's eye with it, even if it's just a small lead pellet, probably won't go through the skulls but I had a .22 that would do it. XD

jeff: unforgivable!!! jk. I'm so nice, you're forgiven.

alex: good to see you here ^^

                  Default Well hello there...

Hey all, quite an exquisite crowd already...

I'm Taron, 3d generalist and software developer for pmG worldwide. I'm working on messiah:Studio and do freelance work involving and benefitting the development of messiah every now and then.

I've been in Hollywood's visual effects industry for the last 10 years and many years before then in Germany.

I'm already excited to see what will happen here. It seems like a beautifully neat site and could well become a solid industry hub. Guess it's up to us to inject and maintain the proper spirit!

I've just started uploading some newer works here, which I havn't even put on my website, yet, but well... it's so much more comfortable here, haha.

And I have to say, I'm seriously humbled by the giant pack of brilliant works here!

                  All the Best

                  Taron

Wow lots of people from BC here~!

I guess I'll do an intro...

I'm Jenn, I live on Vancouver Island, BC. I love to illustrate, but I actually pursued schooling in Communication Design and finished getting my degree in Halifax at Nova Scotia School of Art and Design (NSCAD) in April 2007.

I kind of saw illustration as a hobby and didn't really see it as something serious til about last year when my 4th year instructor encouraged me to do it more, thus I began utilizing it in my projects. (Instructors before that didn't encourage it because they said my style wasn't diverse enough for design, so I had to refrain from drawing what I wanted or at all.) And now it's part of what I want to do.

I love design a lot and will still continue to pursue it... ideally I'd like to be able to do both design and illustration together. At the moment, I'm not really either (well sort of with design... but I wouldn't count it to be honest) because living in a small town makes it hard to find full time work for it, but hopefully that will change when I move to a bigger city. But at the moment, any sort of illustration & design is done for my personal pleasure and sometimes freelance.

My confidence in my work unfortunately is very low, but I'm hoping I'll gain more and improve my work through this community.

My website is mechanical bunnies – which at the moment is very conflicted and in the works of a revamp to promote it on the design side. :'D

                    Default hi

Far out so many awesome artists here!
                    soso humble.
I really like the layout of this site. Its so clean and easy to use.

                    My names Jeff Lai,
I'm from New Zealand (where them hobbits grow, I have yet to see one of those running around..)
I Just graduated from Massey University with a BDes majoring in illustration. So i'm quite the n00b

I'd like to get into doing actual illustration/concept art, which would be my dream~
not sure how that would pan out as NZ doesn't have that many opportunities for this line of work..
but i'll keep my spirits up!

                    I have a blog too: http://www.jeffrey-lai.blogspot.com

Would be great to get to know more of everyone here!
