Hey Hey Guys,

I have just finished a animation project that i was using to learn ZB and Maya.
And i thought i would share..!!

Most of the modelling has been done in Maya , with ZB being used for textures and a few sculpts..

Any comments / crits welcome...

It's interesting...very colorful...very alien like...but if you're going for a realistic effect, I feel as if it's missing something in the lighting. How long is the short? I feel as if there should be a little more interactivity with the environment if it's a fly through piece...and I know you probably hate hearing suggestions about a project in which the rendering takes crazy long. I know how you feel

. Overall I think it's a pretty great concept, but needs to be a bit more interactive to keep it enticing. I'd like to see the finished piece!

many thanks for your feedback..!!

this project wasnt really planned out as it only really started as a way to learn the different tools in Maya , it sort of snowballed out of control as i kept adding and adding stuff to it. the camera was supposed to be a flying eye robot that was like a usher in a modern gallery showing you (the viewer) around my portfolio which was a collection of other art work of mine hanging on the walls.. i also went far too mad with "incandescence" and at the time of rendering i didnt know about the reflection/refraction elements of materials ... now a year later i would very probably do this very differently..

as soon as i get a more powerful computer/render farm i will go back to that scene and redo it

Really like your animation,it is pretty good and colorful.

And there are lots of good render farms online,you can choose one of them to do more awesome works.Hope to see your new work soon!
