Hey there

I like most number 2 in the first row…

But what's the specific need? Just for the fun of it or do you have something special in mind?

Cheers

K K

Nope - you're not a noob!!! Working on your own stuff is the hardest thing ever (imo).
The problem on that is that you could go any directions - and thats the problem.
Having a sneak peak on other artist portfolio will give you some kind of insight.
At least you should show a variety of work.

Well - an idea would be to pick two or three of the thumbs, colorized it and take the one you like the most and push it to a full rendered illustration.

But thats just my 2 cents. Hope this will help a bit

Cheers

hey mr. brown nice thumbs.... really like it... i was taught that sometimes when ur creature designing or character designing u have to ask yourself what is it ur trying to tell. what kind of creature it is, how does it move and maybe have a few words that describe what ur trying to design and then go and design it. looking at your thumbs i can see some creatures that are kinda slow, heavy type and also i see some that could be creepy fast like some insects but in a larger scale. so depending on what u wanna do then u choose. i really like this and u could even take out about 3 final designs of these creatures that are completely different but they belong to the same story or era or even environment. dang i talked too much...sorry thats my....little cent. i hope that helps!

hey buddy nice studies man, really like them... about the creature thumbs good job. i think you should push those way more, try to focus on the design on b.w and forget about color. the only reason i tell u this is because those thumbs got potential, imo.... anyways keep rocking man!

    hey there
great take on the thumbs!!! I've to agree with Jose - try to push the greyscale version until you're quiet happy and than - color fun
Landscape / environ is pretty cool too!!!! Like it a lot.
Maybe add a bit of structure to the rock and add some darker tress in the foreground - this will give you a bit more depth.
As always - thats just my 2 cents!!!
