Hey man, nice stuff, I especially like the last group of landscapes. Very nice painty feel to them. What program are you using for those?

Everything for the most part is done in photoshop. Occasionally i will use painter for experiments, but rarely.

Cool, mind sharing your PS brushes? I'm curious to see the brushes that are getting that effect. I really like the sunset/clouds in your last batch. Very pretty.

I seriously only use 4 brushes and they are from Shaddy Safadi's blog. You can also watch the videos and read his class blog to learn the technique i am using in these. it's really effective!

But as most people say, dont get caught up in brushes. Because in the end they are just cheap tricks. Most of the work is done with a simple opaque brush set to size jitter. And all the brush marks that look fancy are done toward the last 10% of the painting.

Hey, thanks man. Yeah, I've been pretty much staying with the round brush, but I always want to know how people are doing the sweet brushes and I've never been able to get that look. I appreciate the link, I'll have to check it out.

ide say the most important part is to use opaque brush marks, it will keep your colors vibrant and concise.

                          Exploratory sketch.

Hey Aryeh - nice updates!!!! The last bunch of character explorations are pretty cool.
Love the rocky landscape with the guy (red scarf) on top. Would love to see that one pushed a bit further.
                              Cheers
