Nice updates, mate!
Really dig the the creatures thumbs and the bushes as well.
Would be great if you could find the time and push the bushes a tad further

yea, its hard. im just not the sort that enjoys rendering. i get the most fun out of the design process and understanding the shape. Anything beyond for me just becomes rather boring.

But i know i need to try harder. Truthfully the stuff i post is almost always done in one sitting. In talking with a lot of my favorite designers i find that they work this way also.

So i am ok with the fact that my stuff isnt super rendered.

with that said, i think my work will gradually continue to improve in all areas with sychronisity if i just keep pushing foward. More than anything i want to understand economy and learn how to make smart, concise choices rather than having to weedle everything out.

Hey mate,
I know that pretty well - I'm in the same boat

Therefore I'm also a guy who's loving more the design progress than the actual rendering progress. And its just a matter of style

playing around with min yum's brushes.

i dont know how he manages so many different ones. i find the sheer number confusing. having so many options is disorienting >,<
