Hello Everyone,
We are pleased to announce a new offering here at CGMA called "Live-Feature Workshops." These workshops are a combination of our Master workshops and Master classes. They are taught by special guest artists that have over a decade of experience in their field.

We are happy to introduce our first guest lecturer, Mike Hernandez, Production Designer & Senior Visual Development Artist at Dreamworks Animation. Mike has been at Dreamworks Animation for over 16 years, and is also a fine art painter. His past projects include: Turbo, Shrek 4, Merry Madagascar, Spooky Stories, Scared Shreckless, Bee Movie, Monsters Vs Aliens, Father of the Pride, Spirit, and Sinbad. He graduated from the Art Center College of Design in 1998, and taught landscape painting at Art Center until 2004.

This Live-Feature workshop, "Lighting and Color Key for Production", will focus on the principles of color theory and cinematography applied to live action and animation. The workshop will cover the essentials of how colors can lend themselves to cinematic storytelling, the visual development process, and production.
