Hi there! Sorry that was a bit confusing I imagined the seas being rich with plant life as well. Perhaps Algae-like life forms and such. The ocean itself would be greenish in color. The wildlife can be whatever color you fancy - except the Tuk Tuk - they have colors listed in the Physiological Notes. Hope that answers your question. ![]()

Of course! As a designer it is up to you to take those two influences and come up with something entirely new! ![]()

Alright! Sorry I've been like absent lately. Been busy and such!
Work is looking great! This is a tricky topic because it all sounds very familiar to creatures we all know about. I think what will help all of you is to look though some nature books and pick out some reference to guide your design a bit. Also, These creature do not have to be bird-like or even have fleshy membranes for wings - they can be feathers, scaled, insect-like (as long as their skeleton is inside them ) - whatever you think will work. Overall though these are some awesome starts! @ Carnifex - Great sketches! Love the head shape! Excited to see more development. ![]() @ Matt_Kirk - Nice start! Love the fluid line along the body. The head has an interesting shape to it as well. I think sketching a bit more will help to find that perfect design. @pegahoul - Nice process! I really like the direction your taking this. I think the only issue would be the gripping aspect of this creature. I'm looking forward to where you take this. @ MCBennett - Looks Awesome! Love the head shape and the mouth. It looks like a very wise creature Looking forward to more! Try to keep those legs on the lighter side. This thing will want to be as light as possible to make flying easier. ![]() @ Sorknes - Yes. Endoskeletons are what we as humans / mammals have. @ Santana - Nice action in your piece! Love the composition. I think bringing your creature in a bit more like you had him in the previous post will help. I think looking at different raptor birds and such will help you with the anatomy of this. If you're still having issues, let me know Great work everyone! I'll be a little more present these next couple of days. Don't be afraid to help each other out too ![]()
