A long time ago I used to do gesture studies from the superb posemaniacs.

Reading Stanchfield's inspiring "Drawn to life" I've been inspired to practice gestures again. Here are some 10-15-30 s studies from today (artRage3, pencil tool):

Undead: Thanks a lot. Yes, Pixelovely has become a new favorite site of mine recently. The last two figure studies were actually drawn from that tool.

John: Thanks and I agree. I should become better at doing a completed greyscale version and then add colors. But I often lack the time or patience, especially if it's not that much time left until deadline.

Here's a life drawing from photo from today (10 min, ArtRage3):

                        Hi Alex,
I'm fine. Back working (computer maintenance/teaching) again. But I still have a severe addiction to drawing and painting as you can see

I hope you're great as well. Glad you like the gesture. Merry Christmas!
