you could push the detail alot more too unless you just want to keep it cartoony.

Yes, Pokemon's from 1- 151.
You can choose any from the list but preferably a redesign from the 2-D creature planets Pokemon Challenge.

ALSO: more than one person can model the same Pokemon!

It will make those sculpting the same Pokemon try to out-do each other!

Still struggling along incrementally. That big ear remains a separate object that I was experimenting around on, and now I know how to go about doing it correctly. I'll probably delete it and make a better one. I hope to be able to learn UV mapping before the end of this round. It's what I have been reading up on.

At least I have his shoulders fixed.

O Yea, im totally doing this! Ive started my base and ill post something soon. All the concepts from the 2d challenge looked great, but ive been wanting to do Lapras for quite a while

looks good, quite cartoony.

you would have to do a new model in order to compete in this challenge. to reuse one from another challenge isnt exactly fair to others.

*I wouldnt object to you taking this model and zbrush an incredible amount of detail into it though, that i would accept.

the point is to start and finish within the challenge time contraints.

this will push you as an artist to work on a short deadline which is typical in the industry.

FYI the cubone for the 2d challenge was done in photoshop...i took that and did a 3d sculpt in zbrush...i just did a 3d of the one i sumitted to the 2d challenge....is that not allowed???

sorry i misunderstood , from what I read it sounded like you did your 2D CP in zbrush and now were trying to submit the same one to this challenge.

I based my pokemon redesign off of Robobobo's re-design of Weezing.

Start to finish about 3 hours, including all zbrush sculpting and painting. Rendered in zbrush, minor touch ups in photoshop.
