Default CharacterFORGE 3D :: ROUND 003 :: Native American Scout

BRIEF
Native American Scout

There was a time before the Europeans arrived, before the horse, and before the winchester rifle. Before small pox and before the colonies.

Select a tribe of your choice from one of the regions from the map below and create a scout for a hypothetical xbox game that takes place before the colonization of the new world.

well, I don't think that xbox can handle unlimited polycount and texture size.

      Hey daniorrr,

As Arttorney pointed out, most of the rules can be found in the Rules and Guideline link, but to answer your question, no there are no polygon limits.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Haha! No, but since it's a hypothetical game, we can argue that it's for a future version of the X-Box that can handle anything you throw at it so I'm not going to spend a lot of time worry about it -- main focus is the character

That said, if you want to set a realistic limit on yourself, and include a note of it in the entry, that would be acceptable as well. Just because you can go to a kajillion polygons, doesn't mean you have to!

      Best,
      ~S

Like your sculpt, Topo looks pretty good as well, lots of polys for the face so you can nail all those nifty details...

Let's see where you guys/just you take this!

If I have some time I will try to rough out some concepts. I've been busy with Mini Dom Challenge at GameArtsians and more importantly, catching up on gaming. I really like this idea though.

            hello cghub! <3
its really nice to see some REAL people in the thread! (and imaginable heavy too!). today I made just a little small update and I want to share. still have to polish the model and got a lot of areas that I didn't touched at all :S. at least I made a "quick" retopo (it took about 5 days -_- yeah, as quick as a wind!) so now I am ready to push up.

SCWatson, jonshelley, Hulahuga, Ogi-G, thestrom - thanks for your interest and support!

              Default Comanche scout

              Hey!

Thought i'd at least try to make a contribution.
Not fun to be alone, jnumber9...

A kind of aggressive Comanche scout.
Black warpaint means war I think.

              Heres my first sketch.
Thinking of making him more stylized, though.
              Any ideas are welcome.
