Alright everyone that's CPA # 23!! Great work from both of you who made it to finals and everyone who participated! I'll be setting up the polls shortly. Hope to see you all for the next round!

Ogi and I have been discussing this round a bit (I also got my computer problems figured out ) and we have decided to go ahead and cancel the polls this round. Both entries were awesome, the ideas were really great and the presentation was beautiful. However, we felt that only one entry really met the prompt requirements - which was to depict both a male and female specimen of the species.

We don't like to discourage anyone from participating in Creature Planets and so we hope there are no hard feelings but the requirements of the round must be met to be included in the polls. Since there were only two entries, we have decided to go ahead and reward a badge to KIANO.

Anyway, we hope to see you both for the upcoming topics here with Creature Planets.

Here is some feedback for you two:

@ KIANO - Great work! I love the spots you've added to one of the creatures there. I also really like your color palette. It might have been nice to label which specimen was female and which was male in your post just because I'm curious. I like the side views and while it isn't super dynamic, it helps me see the whole creature - which I think is very important. Overall though, beautiful job!

@ Didzis - Great work! I loved the pose of this creature - it has a dynamic feel to it. I also really like the skin texture. I would have really liked to see both a male and a female - I'm curious as to which this one would be. It would have also fit the prompt. I also really like your color palette - the blues are very nice. Great job on this topic - its a great portfolio piece.

Yea, I had the feeling I was going to get disqualified for not displaying the female species. But because there was only one post, I thought I'd make it less lonely.

Brynn, The female is is the smaller spotted one with the brighter flowers on her back. I am glad that you liked my creature and i also liked Didzis' version as well. : )

This was fun, I hope to enter another challenge soon.

Your badge will show up in a day or so. Admin tacks them to your name around midnight-ish - is what Ive noticed anyway. I've notified them so it should be anytime now.
