Here is a quick little update i did yesterday. Just correcting a few errors.

I need to round out the bridge of the nose a little.

I will do one last update of him on Monday. Untill then i will work on the other stuff.

I just want to more on but its hard

I have posted my work on a few forums. The ones where i think i would get the best critiques and im surprised at the lack of response here. Maybe im in the wrong forum (although apparently 50+ people are viewing this particular forum). My work is based on Anatomy and i figured this would be the best area to received valued/targeted critiques.

Tiny update here. Broken a few things but mainly i modelled my first set of teeth (well the uppers at least). Which was neither easy or fun.

Mouth needs to be fixed along with a plethora of other things. So more dramatic updates soon.

Well here is another little update. This is Dante. He is a continuation of a speed sculpt. Only an hour on him since then (on the face). About 2 hours on the all the stuff on his head.

Lots of mistakes in this update. Need to rework a lot of muscles and fatty areas but anyhoo. Best to update everyday or as often as possible to get over the embarrassment and to easily pinpoint sections to work on.

Here is some work i did tonight. Still just roughing things out (been working on mainly the lower half of the face).

The great challenge of this model is he is very generic, and its hard to convey certain shapes when everything is so... average. Thats why i usually tend to shy away from that type of stuff. But im determined to work/continue .

really enjoyed your anatomy thread, i like the rough surface of your sculpt it makes the model looks more organic.
hehe, i think you are little bit perfectionist, though

Really liking this thread.. anatomy stuff is great!
I love the way your digi sculpts look like actual clay with all the tiny bumps n divets
                    keep going!
The only crit i can give is that the collar seems pretty thick and id like to see more big thick wrinkles down the back of the robe.

Thanks for the comments on the model. I dont intend for the model to be rough, it due down the way i work. At the end it will be smoother (in the right places).

I've been think about your second comment a lot. I know you probably didnt want me to think about it too much , but i cant help it. Same with my models. I can't help but make them the best i can. I feel the moment i settle for anything less i might as well give it up.

Like i said above, its the way i work. I guess it's just like working with real clay. It will be smoother in the final version but the roughness of realistic skin will be maintained.

Oh and agree about the folds and wrinkles. Especially the collar...

Maybe i forgot to mention i am making these for a chocolate company hehe.

Here is something that i've just started. Just wanted to put something up to get the ball rolling.

Quick update with the hair and beard with a little more on the forehead and left side refinement

Working on the body right now, and will get to the hair, and then refine the whole lot.

                            Smile hello, its me again.

                            the updates looks good,
and i can't crits anything so far, just keep em coming !

sorry about what i said earlier about you being a little bit perfectionist, im not trying to messing with your head or anything.
i think its good if you want to give the best that you can and not being satisfied, cause that way we can push our limitations,
                            and hopefully,will increase our skills.

i've been trying to study human anatomy too, that's why im kinda bit stalking you thread here.

You've got some cool stuff here. I really like that you model different body types. Sometimes I feel like I only see the same few bodies over and over again (and I am guilty of it myself). So yeah, keep it up.

Thanks mate. Yep i am trying to mix things up, and now i think im gonna try and finish what i started and try to incorporate more variety.

Sorry for the long absence. If been 'busy' and last month my PSU blew up, only just got my replacement the other week and im still trying to keep up with my podcast.

Anyway, gonna be finish the models shown so far. And then focus on one model at a time. Here is a start on this guy. ('bout an hour or less)
