    Default Some sub forum ideas...

This might be cool to break up into languages (i.e. Maxscript, Mel, ICE, Python, C++, C# and so on).

You could break it up into Packages but I think that it should focus more on the programming rather than the package it supports. Then again...

I agree with the focus on programming moreso than the packages as it would allow better education to our readers. I also agree with seperating out the various interests but we'll have to get more readers first.

I agree. I think since this is a site for artists that it should not be like all the other sites that organize everything into 3d Animation Packages.

It would be interesting seeing someone writing a plugin in C++ for Max compare notes with someone writing a plugin in the same language for XSI.

I haven't seen that anywhere else.

One thing that people don't understand is that programming can be just another art form. One that really doesn't know boundaries of software packages.

I'm going on and on since the site is in beta. Otherwise I would have said is this...

Exactly, from what I have seen so far on this site the readers will flood in.

Sounds like a great idea! We'll see how this pans out soon enough!

Default What is your greatest need?

            All,

What is your most compelling need for Maya plugins? I am planning on designing tools for sale to automate portions of workflow but I need to know what people really want.
