Exclamation Free "Draw & Paint" Comics video series!

What began as a small sketch video series now is a tutorial series in High Definition (HD)!

It is made for comic fans and aspiring artists out there.

    Some info about me:
My name is Chris Noeth and I'm the artist on new 'Tales from the Crypt' comics from Papercutz and the 'Ray Harryhausen Presents' four issue mini-series 'It Came From Beneath The Sea... Again!' from Bluewater which is in production right now.

    About the videos:
The best part: They are complete free of charge and you can embed the videos in your blog, website and so on. You also can download the original size videos at the vimeo site. (You can find this download section at the right bottom area under 'statistics')

Here are the links to the sketch and paint videos:

'Draw & Paint' - Hellgirl - Sketch Video

    'Draw & Paint' - Hellgirl - Paint Video - Part 1 of 2

    'Draw & Paint' - Hellgirl - Paint Video - Part 2 of 2

The sketch video is shown in real time. The paint video is faster. But you can use the VLC media player to speed up the sketch video!

Please spread the word and use the image from the attachment if you want.

Have fun and drop me a line if you like the new series!

... oh... and please don't forget to vote for the thread if you like it

    THX!

    Best,

    Chris

    sweet vids and cool idea!

I've been experimenting with this idea as well-but the video capturing doesn't seem to work on my Mac-well it captures but the playback is glitchy
maybe I need to make them smaller? tried doing one that spanned across both my 24inch mac and 20inch cintiq and recorded for the full 2 or so hours of drawing...maybe that's humongous?lol

I'm currently trying SnapzProX with OSX...

how are you capturing the vids?

I don't know if this has already been said in the CGHUB suggestions thread, but having a thread or section somewhere where everybody could post videos showing how they make their paintings would ROCK.

Anyway, this is really educational, Mr. Noeth, thanks for sharing!

I love the sketch vid. I don't have time yet to watch the coloring but you can bet I will.

      Thank you.
