      Hey all!

here's the present step of my Battlecat!
All jobs are very good! Keep doing!

I started the studies of the armor! I'm thinking about something with bronze pieces.

@ Santana - Looking good. I like the helmet and Heman looks great. You should try to tone down that background a bit. Its is pretty bright. I think just softening the light a bit will help lots. You might think about defining a light source as well. That will help in placing your shadows and highlights. I've attached a quick paint over that explains it a bit better. If anyone else has ideas, don't be afraid to make suggestions.

@ rodmendez - Looks great so far! I really like the armor sketch you have going it in. I think the paws would use more structure in the way they are placed on the ground. looking at big cats might help a bit. btw, your studies were really great! Excited to see more!

@ madpoint - Nice start! I think you should try and flesh out that design a bit more before you go into color. Sometimes artists will flesh out a painting in grayscale and then tone over it to add in color. Perhaps you could try something like that? This way you can have you image figured out and add color in without loosing the whole image. Nice start!

@ Dvddesigner - Looking good! I like the pose your cat is in. Although his back leg seems a bit off. You might sketch out some cat legs to see how they work and then try and fold one up. This might make it look more natural. Great start though!

@ Noukah - Beautiful studies! Love the different tail lengths - something I considered as well I love those short tails. Anyway, excited to see it develop!

@ mentos90 - Nice sketch! Totally action packed! Hope to see more

ok, hope I didn't miss anyone

Here is where I am, not much further

@Tiffany - Boss sketches there, diggin it.

I don't know what else im going to do with this one, I spent an hour randomly making adjustments that really didn't improve anything. That usually means I should step away from it and look at tomorrow. Would love input!

Steps... just designed as I painted.

Santana: Thanks very much! Your design is really cool too, I really dig the helmet, I see now that my design of it reminds me of yours Haha great minds think alike.

Brynn: Thanks so much, same to you. The progress is looking awesome!

Everyone else's is coming along great as well! Moar moar moar!

@Noukah - Loving the design of both the cat and the armour.

@Twigbag - Awesome stuff. Love the progression and especially the face and shoulders of the armour.

@Brynn - Love the pose dude. He looks real.

@Santana - Love the little tweaks on the classic look.

@Rodmendez - I cannot wait to see that armour done. Looking kick arse.

@everyone else - loving the inspiration (sorry jut not enough time to comment on everyone's)

Not been able to really work on this too much but this is where i have it so far. I was thinking of giving BC a little more of a lynx look, because they just look like solid creatures. Plus i like the idea of braiding those massive whiskers. Whith his short tail i was going to give him a weapon there too: an energy axe. I made his shoulders massive and tried to put in in the right region and increasing the proper muscles.
