Too bad there's such a delay with every stroke D;
It could be nice if that were fixed.

Here's a nice demo, without the pressure sensitivity. Granted at larger resolutions, you would have to probably switch to a desktop workstation, this definitely seems like it could suffice for an e-Sketchbook on the go that's lightweight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OLP4nbAVA4 another good one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzGm-...eature=related and a nice cel shade/flatting type demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKIVZ...eature=related Last edited by Horus397; 08-15-2010 at 11:52 AM. |

Here is an image I did on my iPad (most of my recent works in my gallery as done on iPad)
![]() Even without pressure sensibility you can have a lot of fun with it ! Most of drawing app have pressure sensibility simulated (works with strokes speed) but it's not very intuitive in my opinion... Anyway I got addicted to it since I got it. You can really use it as a digital sketchbook : it's light, you can hold it in your hands, turn it as you want, draw directly on your digital canvas using your finger or a stylus ![]() I put some of my video process on youtube here : http://www.youtube.com/user/mreynes#p/u |

I’ve been looking for a stylus for the iPad and was wondering if any of them would allow me to replace paper and pen? I’m looking to be able to take quick notes and drawings like one would on paper.

The iPad would likely still be less sophisticated for drawing even with an app that takes advantage of pressure sensitivity, etc., but you'd have all the other iPad features--including the portability.
I have to sit back and watch while others discuss and develop these ideas, but I hope we see more grow from this. The iPad could become as ubiquitous as a paper sketchbook in an artist's bag. Lucky for me, the case I'm using can hold both.
