I liked your spiky monster, does he have a face or is it solid rock?
Your hand studies are looking pretty good, but I think your squiggly shading is hurting these. Try "shading with the form" heres a good example of it: ![]() (not done by me, this example is by this awesome dude Kevin O'Neill.) Even the first example in this one looks "neater", but I wouldn't do that as you loose the energy your sketches seem to have. Still attempting to controll your lines may give you something new to focus on while you study, and perhaps reveal things you haven't thought of before. |

Feels like this takes extra time because It's fan art I guess..
Hopefully I will be spared from hot temperatures and other distractions so I can finish this bastard tomorrow, render it and make is somewhat crisp.
