Default Maya Fur - Mapping values greater than 1

I have tried searching everywhere, and I have not found a solution. I was hoping one of the many brilliant people on this forum could help out.

I have created a length map for Maya Fur. The issue is that I can only get a range between 0 and 1 using an image map. How can I multiply, or amplify my map to a value of lets say 10. So where it is pure white, it is a value of 10. Any help is greatly appreciated.
