Some info on how the sea was created:
The foreground sea started as an exported mesh from Houdini Ocean Tools for Maya. (More info and a download here.) zBrush was used to add in the wake and the splashes coming up the sides of the sub and boat. This mesh was combined with Maya's Ocean shaders to displace the mesh further. The background sea was just Maya Ocean. Michael @ Candy Lab ![]() |
