your also bussy with form then but its abit different, it takes you steps further with drawing.

when i look at you digital work. you might try to build your characters and objects out of layers. use more different brushes
big and small. and try to play 30-60% opacity and 70-90%

just some stuf you could try sometime

A little more work on this "Owl Lad", feeling a bit too saturated at the moment.

So, I wanted to see if I had made any progress by doing still lifes. I'm using this cup as a measure right now, though I have plans to do alot of these kinds of studies, I picked this one for now

                    Jan 5

                    Jan 20

Observations (based on the object being studied, which is usually at night with a lamp):

                    1) It looks closer to the right shape

                    2) Color is closer but still not right

                    3) Inside of the cup is not close, actual object color is warmer almost creamy yellow, also rim is missing some subtle browns.

                    4) Color is muddled still, need to work on blending

                    5) Highlights/Shadows still weak

                    On to more practice!

                      Some studies and a doodle

Still life value study. I'm actually somewhat happy with this as I feel like I got a tad closer with the values in some spots on this one though not perfect.

Photo studies from an excellent reference pack put together by a user named Ales here on CGHub.

Some Hogarth studies, a doodle and a coffee cup study

Various studies and imagination sketches I did last night.

                          Imagination

                          Life studies

Photo studies, trying to work on more faces / heads now

Imagination pieces, the last one was done right before I sketched the digital version in the first image.
