Was going to wait until these were finished, but that was when I thought I knew when they've been done. Originally for CA.org's TeamChow III, my partner and I opted to drop this one in favor of spending more time making these pieces look the way we wanted them. At least we've got a collab going with a good chance of getting some decent stuff finished. Eventually

            Team: Oh Bother
Cards: Marjor Arcana(Empress, Star), Minor(King of Swords, Two of Swords)

            Empress
I think she was the last sketch. So far, liking her best.

Liked the idea for this one. Not sure I'll like the finished one. Having some issues with color/finish

First sketch done. Never finished clean up. Most of that'll be done in the color process. I think one of the biggest short comings for this one was my inability to get out of traditional, watercolor mode and into the more graphic/designery/digital mode. It's two different thought/working processes for me.

And now I've gotta go clean up my files and keep on plugging. Pity we couldn't get these done for submission tonight. But would rather miss deadline and work towards really good finished pieces. Which is what Kitty and I are planning on now.

Well for now, this is as close to finished as this one will get.
Gots other stuff to work on, three other cards to try to eventually finish, and I want to get back to painting. That is why I bought new watercolors.

Edit: May have to alter the BG paneling color or add in netting like I'd originally planned. Didn't realize how close the browns in her skin and the wood behind her were until I got it on another screen. Oops.

I like this one a bit better
Even had a happy 'mistake' with one of the Flash Filters.

Nice watercolour. It took be ages to move from vector painting to something similar to PS. Takes a bit of adjusting to but you've got some good flow in the picture going there.

Looking good freddy, especially the chow water colour.

I think maybe desaturating some of the further away colours might give your images a greater sense of depth in some cases. Cant wait to see more.

Quicky thumbnail sketch for a 'web toy' I'm working on for my website. Hurray. It will probably all end up as Illustrator/Flash work

                              Web Toy Update

So I think I've got the background and overlay mostly hashed out. I'll probably be using the one all the way on the right. With the BG 99% complete, that means it's time for animation. And programming. At least everything's tiny. I just have to remember to keep an eye on how much detail goes into the flash. This little puppy is only going to be 200x300px.

Oh well. We'll see how things go. Fun fun. It's something to do. And it's good practice for ...stuff?
