Hi!
I thought beginning of a new year would be a great time to start my own sketchbook here.

Still lifes

Some environments, for the last two I tried using 3d models (Google sketchup) as the base of the painting.

Beautiful work! I love the ladybug and the room with the couch especially. I love your rough edges and how they all feel like pastel. Nicely done.

How the hell have I missed these? These are beautiful. Especially that blue jar painting which is my favorite this far. You use the 3d very effectively and you can't even see in the finished painting that you've used any.

Doesn't look "meh" to me!
You get me quite inspired to push myself to draw arcitectural studies. That sketcup software seems pretty neat as well.

It's only meh if you didn't learn from it. I like the still lives and the painterly approach you take with the 3D enviroments.

The best part is that its very easy to use and you can learn it in just few hours.

Black-Spot - Hey thanks, well then its definitely not meh.

Here is my entry for Story Tellers 001, still a wip at this moment, and the 3d model I use in the painting.
