    Default The Perfect Storm

Okay, first thread made, and first wip posted!

I've been working on this piece for far too long, countless re-do's and headaches in this one. But I think it's finally coming together.

This is where it's at right now, a lot to do still as you might see, but what I want to know before I work on it too much more, is the composition good? Does the lighthouse fit when considering scale, placeing and such?

Here you can see some of the various steps from beginning until now.

Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum You are doing so well so far. I can't see the lighthouse that well in the latest WIP, but it seems okay on the previous steps.

I think you should brighten up the shadows a little, at least in the areas around the car - it seems a biiit too shiny. You could try making a new layer set to Lighten and filling it with a dark, highly saturated colour of your choice to get nice, toned shadows. Play around with opacity, different colours, and erase what you don't need :] I hope I helped a little!

Thank you for the nice welcome! I appreciate it. Yes, the lighthouse has been neglected a bit so far.

Oh okay! So brighten up the shadows in the sand around the car and on the car, will do! Thanks for the tip!
