Hey :3 Nice Bridgman studies. I need to get my pile of Bridgman books out again... They're really helpful.

I see improvement from the first few things you posted on CA- can't wait to see where this goes!

hey dude heres a quick critique: don't overkill on the soft brush, the soft brushes are good for pushing things back so they don't stick out so much. try using the chalk brush or the hard round as well, especially on your focal areas like the face, hard edges stick out.

keep studying man and you'll be ass kickin in no time!

Great studies man, I second Ben's critique.

Your Graphire shouldn't be a problem :/ I've had Graphire3 for six years and recently switched to Intuos4 (like a week ago) and the only difference is that Intuos is a bit more sensitive and you can get some really nice, precise glazes. Pixelation may appear if you're drawing on zoomed-out image - Painter pixelates everything but 100%, and Photoshop looks nice only on 100%, 75%, 50% and 25% (and 12.4% I think?)

IM BAAAAAAACK!!!! hey everybody well im back in the swing of painting again i havent got any studies at the moment but here is what im working on right now for personal projects and an upcoming one is a pic of Doomsday in a wrecked fortress of solitude wearing a torn superman cape, that one is very much to early to post up but here is this weeks drawing jam for "Odd Couple" and then just some doodling around redesigning some of my more recent paintings of characters all still wip but hopefully get em all finished soon, i know i have been gone a long time i used to attend the daggers streams everyday but due to recent things in my life getting up to get them just isnt happening, but i do plan on studying on my own time and i am determined to make this my career so any input would be awsome guys and thanks for stoping by!

Hey what's up man, good to see you back and making the effort! I hope you can stick around this time dude!! I like the idea for the odd couple you have - I'd recommend grabbing a reference of a park on a sunny afternoon and seeing the colours, sky, grass, shadows and stuff Have fun! Demon dude looks good, are you adding a background?

anyways here is a little more rendering on my odd couple still needs ALOT more work, and a new peice i decided to start never really did fan art before so here it is! and kudos if you get the idea

welcome back dude. One thing you might wanna try with the picture with the dog is to add some more contrast to the darks, because now I think they look a bit dull and kind of dirty looking. But that might work for the human dog
