I've been feeling pretty ill today, guys. It sucks D: But I did these quick sketches of my dad and a puppy watching football just now. Hopefully will get some more done during the second half.

Hey daggers it's been awhile really awsome seeing everyone still studying and observing.

Natural light still life renderd out to much stuff deadaning any focal point :P but it was fun natural light is really interesting!

i like to combine studies to make things interesting for myself sometimes. i feel like it helps with my design and composition and keeps my brain interested for longer

Apologies for not posting regularly, but I have been working on studies. I've been doing a lot of original work lately, trying to apply what I'm learning from these. Here's my mess of photo/life studies. I'll try and upload my traditional studies soon too.

this is an illustration project I am doing for class, a whole lot of it is from a photo im doing so its basically a study, but the figures i am kind of going off on on my own. the final image is going to have one last figure, to the right, behind the table, with a candle on the little table adding light and shadow to the face....hopefully making that a focal point. there will also be much more going on outside the window in the street.

i have been using a hard brush with no opacity on a lot of it, but as I go along i have sort of stopped, but i learned a lot from doing that. its so tedious but i think it really made me understand how many value changes there are even in a small amount of space. i will keep posting my progress over the coming days...

if anyone wants to do a paint over or give me any pointers, ideas on the street, or whatever, dont hesitate! i would love some feedback.

Hey guys, been watching Dave's streams for a few weeks now and really pumped about doing work. Just started with the studies last Thursday and here's what I've done so far, wish I had time to do more but I can't afford to not work. ;D I also forgot to put my blog name on the images! Whoops, I'll have to remember to do that.

Looking forward to getter a ton better and doing tons more studies. Keep up all the great work guys/gals tons of great work in this thread!

Two more from today, I painting George Washington, at least I tried to. Not too sure it looks like him, maybe it's his cousin. Earl Washington. ;D The second image is from a photo, was going to be bigger with her body in it but got hung up on the face so I cropped it.

Here's a few studies from the past few days. I failed so hard at painting those flowers. My mum walked past and thought it was a floppy yellow puppy. *sigh*
