Hi, it looks like you've got a pretty good handle on gesture, and the basic proportions are pretty solid. However, your drawings tend to lack structure and appear lopsided. With your permission, I'd like to upload new versions of these studies with the proportions corrected where necessary.

        Thanks.

I second this. Try studying constructive anatomy, good sources are Kevin Chen, Bridgman, Vilppu, Michael Hampton, Bammes... I really learned allot about structure from Bridgman's books. These blogs are worth checking out...

I like the way you drew the girl, it has a nice rythm.

Hi! I agree with what has already been said--the main issue is that the figures lack an obvious support system. The blogs Pieter suggests are great, as are the books. I'm currently studying the Michael Hampton book that he mentioned and am really finding it helpful. I think he's especially good if you find Bridgman somewhat inaccessible.

Yeah, my recommendation for some starting out with figure drawing and anatomy would be to get the Hampton book and then advance to Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing From Life.
