Looking for art school that teaches traditional painting/drawing (Germany?)

Hello,
I am looking for an akademy to study art and I wondered if anybody could recommend schools preferably, but not neccessarily in Germany. Resources to find schools like that are also appreciated.
I want to learn painting and drawing in the style of the old masters.
My plan is to learn the skills I need in traditional media and translate them into digital media to be able to do conceptart. I believe there are no schools that directly teach digital painting (probably wouldnt be a good idea either).
The schools I found at the Art Renewal Center all seem to offer very good education but they tend to focus on figures only and more or less disregard landscape/scenery (i want to learn both). Whats up with that? Am I missing something here?
Obviously they are also not very local for me (Germany) and extremely expensive.
My problem is also that most of the schools I find in Germany seem to be more modern art oriented.
So, to sum it up: Can anybody recommend any good schools that teach mostly realist painting/drawing, preferably in germany? Any secret resources to find schools other than google?
Your help is highly appreciated.
As a reward for your help, have a useful resource: All the paintings of the National Art Gallery London are displayed on their website in very high res. This gallery blew me away.
