God, was it good to get away from that. |

i just built a new workhorse custom pc because i hate the lag painting w/ my laptop.
cpu- amd phenom 2.3ghz quadcore ram- 8gb ddr2 800mhz motherboard- biostar TA785ge os- win xp-64 bit video card- geforce 8600gt 512mb displays- cintiq 20wsx and samsung 24 inch 1920x1080 tools: zbrush, ps cs4, painter 11 verdict: i love it. cpu doesnt get hotter than 30 C. no lag whatsoever painting on 13x19 document 300dpi. cintiq reacts like pencil to paper- none of the stroke, wait and watch for paint to show up anymore. i have some extra pc parts so ill probably build a back up pc for fun. |

Oh this thread. My computer is a custom built one, turned 4 years old in April. I call it Morpheus.
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 3200+ Venice, ~2.0GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM Hard Drive: 570 GB Total Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 753s 17" (two of them! RADIATION YAYYYY) Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Computer Case: Eurocase I wish I had a better video card (can't play new-ish games) but overall, it's a good machine. I'll come back to brag when I get a new one ![]() |
