a quick painting to get me started! i'll do separate sketches for a more detailed look. my redesign of ursula is a younger version, with more tribal/voodoo-like powers. once the heir to the largest underwater empire, she was exiled after being caught experimenting in black magics. furious, she attempted a spell that would transform her into a sea creature that would give her the power to destroy her father's kingdom. her spell went wrong, however, and only part of her body changed, permanently.
she can cast a spell on creatures to gain control of them, resulting in a tattoo on her body. however, too many tattoos at once or any tattoo for a prolonged period of time distorts her skin, and it begins to rot from the inside. she spends her time in exile in humiliation, skulking the ocean floor, and awaits the day for true redemption.

@lclark - Great reworking of a classic villain! Can't wait to see it finished.

Its finals week for me, though I would love to do Brain from 'Pinky and the Brain.' He still counts as a villain right?

We'll see if I have time to work something up once I'm done with finals.

Or just pick a villain who seems plausible to exist with minor changes into the back story like Mr.Freeze.

My question boils down to.. Can i make a symbiot from outer space?

But we can't pick Venom or Lizard because they've already made it into movies. Immarite?

@BobxMaker - You're waaaaay over thinking the challenge! XD I'm pretty sure he doesn't mean for people to ignore the implausible villains. Just render them in a more realistic fashion. Many of these villains are cartoons or comics. What would they look like if they were real people? Give it your twist! take that symbiotic alien life form and imagine how it would look if it wasn't a cartoon/comic. He just wants your vision of what the villain would look like in real life.

@proofpudding - OMG I can't believe you are doing Mojo JOJO! great idea!
