Hey everyone, I want to get a new 24' monitor shortly to replace my current one, general opinion is that the Dell UltraSharp U2410 is very good, but I have read a few issues with it, anybody have one and would recommend it? or another?

Any advise would be really appreciated.

Hey Nye..

No doubt that Dell 2410 is a good monitor but I would still go with Asus PA246Q(Pro Art series) which is exactly a similar monitor with same panel and electronic components(more or less) and is cheap in comparison.
I personally like both of them...but for me Dell is loosing it's value.This was the last good quality monitor apart from similar 30 and 27 inch monitors that Dell released.(Also a bit old)

Asus's Pro Art series is amazing and you can also check some monitors from Samsung (pro series). Lacie also have some good 24inch monitors for professionals.

I am not quoting "EIZO" here because for that you have to buy a Ferrari "ENZO" too..

It all depends on what you want to do with it..

Thanks Zentrope, you have given me a lot to think about haha.

I will be using this monitor as my primary and it will be mainly used for Photoshop illustration and some 3D here and there, i do game a little but art creation is the main focus.

The reason I want one is so that I know that I have as close to real colours as possible and dont get any artifacts or banding etc.
