Still working on my redesign. He's starting to look pretty good^^ The lighting and colors are way better than my previous vresion, way more subtle. this is just the color/light stage, next one is going to be details and materials

Today I'm leaving for an Artgame competition, so I might not be able to post anything in the next couple of days. I'll try to post a little something before I go.

I just got back from artgame weekend, and I'm exhausted! It was a great weekend, and I worked as concept artist on one of the games together with some other artists(vincent gradt - http://spasm.cghub.com/, Hannes delbeke from my school - http://hannesdelbeke.blogspot.be/p/portfolio.html and florian Dupre - http://floriandupre.fr/).

I'll try and post some of the work that I made, but it won't be easy..

we created an open world exploration game, and this is the level me, florain and vincent collaborated on. I'll post a close-up of my part, since we all did seperate parts of the painting

a quick logo i made for the artgame last minute. I'll post some quickies today, and hopefully I can upload some sketches again tomorrow, when I've scanned everything

So I arrive in class this morning and as it turns out I had to make some documents for the game, and I had about 1.5 hours to quickly make them. here they are.

I retouched them a little bit when i got home though.

really don't like the character in my game screenshot though. the back was going well, but the character rushjob kinda ruins it

There's some good ideas going on here! I like the Big World stuff. I have a thing for saturated, bright colors. Looking forward to seeing more!

@Rocu thanks! i liked the colours on it as well, they're just so happy.

Some more sketches, this time some of my spare-time experimentations.

I tried to see if I could make some design thumbnails with markers, and it was a blast

did a little style experimentation based on bilal on this one
