Hello there everybody, I'm jonas, and I'm 19 years old. I enrolled in a game-oriented education a year ago, and I discovered a passion for concept art. I realised this is what I want to do with my life, and I'm pracising to make that a reality. However, I've done nothing art related before I started, so I had to start from scratch. After my first year of struggling and with the beginning of my second year, I decided to start a sketchbook.

I'm going to try to update this daily, and I'm starting by uploading the sketches from last month and some painting from the last three. Please, feel free to give feedback to my work, that's why I'm doing this.

this is all the weekend before school started. the first year we only saw mechanical subjects, and no anatomy at all, so I'm trying to not suck at it. At this point I'm failing at that

Unfortunately I'm not gonna be updating my sketchbook a lot the next 4 days, since I've got travelling to do. I'm going to a pixar animation convention in germany first(hell yeah) and I'm following that up with an artgame competition in france. So not gonna have the time to update. I'll try though, maybe tomorrowevening I'll find some time, who knows

I was happy with these when I made them, but looking back after about 4 weeks and seeing my final design..damn.

It's been all old stuff up until now, but I'll start uploading more recent stuff(stuff that isn't from last month) pretty soon

My edge control is pretty bad, so everything is a bit washed out. I've heavily improved this in my more recent sketches, which I'll upload sometime soon

time for some recent work, and time for me to stop uploading blasts from the past. My character for school, the final version(had to make it into a modelsheet, since we're gonna model our characters using zbrush)

It was a hard journey designing her, in both the technical and conceptual area, but I'm pretty content in the end. it was all worth it^^
