WIP Holiday Food Prep

I've been curious about what my parents' childhoods are like - across time and culture. This one is from one of my dad's memories. For Chinese New Year, the family prepares a nice feast, and my dad, here still a boy, remembers peeling potatoes for a pineapple potato salad with his uncle, who was a chef, in a makeshift kitchen. Different ingredients are laid out on the counter, so the viewers can guess what else they'll be making. In time, the dining room in the background now empty will be bustling with activity.
It's a WIP - Crits, comments, and questions are welcomed!
