Challengers! Hereth lie the rules for this round's challenge! Make sure to read them entirely!

Objectives

Halloween is closing in, it is a time for costume parties, fake spider webs and pumpkin carving. In the spirit of halloween, this human anatomy challenge will consist on studying and drawing a full body skeleton! (It would be awesome to see them dancing too )

Rules and Requirements

- Challengers are required to show their WIP and Reference Materials. These challenges are an opportunity for all of us to make contact with other artists and be a part of a growing community and it would be unfair for the artists who are making an effort to share their work and ideas if you are allowed to enter the finals without participating in the WIP thread.
- Challengers are to do an image showing a full body human skeleton. We wanna see some bones, so no clothes are allowed on the skeleton, the dancing is optional, so if you intend to show a dancing skeleton, by all means, go ahead!
- Remember to always post whatever reference you are using!

- Here are a couple reference images and some links of interest:

      Default Skeleton Dance

I am not entering, but I thought I would post this because it was ironic that I actually had something already made
I did this waaay back in 1995. It's just pen and ink. No digital.
Skeletons are fun to draw and dancing skeletons even moreso.

Doesn't seem like many people are too bothered by this challenge! But anyway here's where i'm at at the moment. Nothing fancy aha.

Okay, here's my first WIP and some references I'm taking. As I'm drawing a man/woman couple dancing I'll try to get all the osseous gender diferences right.

Sure, the nature of the anatomicae challenges sometimes forces users to rely on reference photos, it's ok as long as you don't do a blatant paintover :P

Aaaah, of course I had to see this one the day before the deadline.

It's Friday, which is my "dedicated" drawing day no matter what I might have been doing the rest of the week... I might manage, because if there's one thing I REALLY should do, it's learning more about the skeleton....

Better make some coffee and look up that google thing...

Whoa, thinking this might've been a bad idea. Making way too much work for myself.

Mmmmm.... since my last post seems to be gone somewhere (at least I can't see it where it should be) I'll attach my first WIP and the new one as well, along with some of my references (again).

Got sidetracked by a kid, then I got stuck on what I could possibly use as a background. Meh. So I haven't done much, cleaned it up. Unless I manage to think about a background I might just leave it out of the finals, at least I got the skeletons, sort of.

3rd and most probably last WIP, today's the deadline but I have a very busy day ahead so I doubt I can do much more with this one... anyway I'm sleeping NOW!
