How to Attach Images

Name: Iconic musicians and artists of every genre!
Race: Variable
Role: Variable
Gender: Female/Male
Age: Variable

Era: Based on the person you choose.
World/Setting: Based on the person you choose. We're asking you to come up with a character concept that revolves around the unique look and musical style of your artist. Think: Robot Bjork, perhaps? Frank Zappa the court jester? Weird/funny combinations are totally allowed (Steampunk Pavarotti, etc.)
Tools / Artifacts / Equipment / Weapons: Variable, and heavily reliant on the theme/genre you choose.

Clothing / Dress: Whatever fits your theme. Keep in mind that if you choose a more 'outlandish' performer like, say, a Lady Gaga or Marilyn Manson, that your clothing design goes far enough to make it a bit more than just a 'portrait.'
Physical Characteristics
Height: Variable
Stature: Variable
Hair: Variable
Eyes: Variable

Personality: Variable
Characteristics/Traits: The personas of every artist comes across in their music. Try to get their essence.

BACKGROUND NOTES:
Another open challenge.

Focus on developing a great likeness for your chosen artist. We'll be asking people to vote based on creative interpretations, not neccesarily basic technical skill.

Attached is a selection of musicians/performers to give you ideas. Your options are NOT limited to this list.

Ahh, this challenge looks cool.

I was going to design Gackt as a 300 year old Vampire-Samurai, then I realised it would probably just end up as Gakupo, snrk.

Anyway, I might see if I can't clear some tome to draw up a little something-something for this... It'd make a fun personal challenge even if I can't get it done in time.

PS: Yes. The name of the challenge IS Rock Star Redesign, but it's only because we needed some snazzy alliteration. This does not confine you to 'rock' artists.
