Hello I'm a student at Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, Indiana and I am instructed to ask people some questions regarding 3D animal animations. This is mainly supposed to be for expert level animators, teachers, or people already in the industry and their advice but I'm sure anyone's input can help me come up with results.

What hand-drawn animation methods will help students achieve realistic animal animations?

Do you feel students that understand animal anatomy benefit the overall animation process that involves animal movement?

What technical methods do you feel students need to learn to create realistic animal animations?
