Wasnt feeling my original direction, started over (a couple times) Got it back to a rough stage

I need to adjust the perspective a bit here, but after thats it on to the grayscale. Anyone have any useful tips for bringing dark objects out of dark background?

Though Hellhounds could be made up of several different animals, twisted by the devil personally I can't see them look as cute as wolves do

Hi my name is Andy.
My entry is a 6 legs infernal hound. It is chained at columns with strange evil symbols. Its tail is a kind of blind snake.
Hope in your comments and suggestions.

boy, do i love these halloween themes! here's my entry for this jam.

basically, i want a scene in hell that shows the infernal creature with maybe a corpse in its mouth. i think of it like the devil's doghouse. anyway, heres the first sketch ive done. still mustering up other ideas so i will definitely post up some when i think of them.

Ohhh no. Time is always an issue to me during those Challenges - but I�ll not give up.

Here�s a pencil drawing I did just right now. Haven�t used any of the previous thumbnails, but keep some ideas to play with:

The first thing that came to my mind is to search the most horrible dog I can think. Nowadays the PitBull breed is easily associated with 'danger', but in my childhood the Dobermans were the Beasts. There�s even a horror movie with this dogs.

So instead of the Stock shape of the Pitbull I tried something with the gracious curves of the Doberman. A creature who use his speed to chase the poor humans.

The exquisite shapes on the Chest/Hips are ossified bones, exposed like horns and to act like 'aerodynamics' devices. Need to think a bit more about the tail and the overall shape too reinforce this idea.

Anyway. Just some thoughts of my process. Gonna try to sketch more this night.

See ya. There�s some interesting (not great yet) entries already. At this point I�m digging MCIII and GwynMcDeath studies. Kliest dogs are fuck#!@## ugly, but I like it.
