personally, i prefer the first one. it looks more 'forgotten' in my opinion. great work :-)

@nightmare - very cool, great start... im more drawn into the very first.... they all have the "same look" keep it up and posting!
@rhaza - hey nice.... i agree with nightmare... the very first looks more "forgotten"

I'm gonna have a go on this one as well!

After sketching a few thumps I've settled on this one.



I'm going to try and make the scale relatively large as in, I intend to have those white rock formations look huge if possible.

Those are some solid thumps! Personally I prefer the first one, I think the balance in that one is really nice. If you go with it, it may be fun to keep the "squarish" mountains to make it more interesting, rather than rendering them as some standard rock/mountain formations. Whatever you choose I'm sure it's going to be great!

Also some solid thumps! I think the two on the left are the best, possibly the one in the top as my favourite. I would suggest you to lower the saturation somewhat though, right now its really really yellow Is it some kind of abandoned structure? (would be cool)

thanks guys for the input! i decided to go with the first one as it felt the most appropriate for this theme imo. so i went ahead and elaborated the sketch a bit more and added some colour to suit.

im thinking of a gloomy scene with rays shining into the plains and probably a bit of flowers growing in the tanks...:-)



@andreasbech interesting piece! i imaging this being a fantasy landscape piece with dragon skeletons on the ground and those giant rocks maybe has castle ruins on top and such. keep it up! :-)

@JoseVega personally, i think the piece with the craters/holes on the ground looks great. maybe they are geysers with debris around them? gonna stay tuned :-)

still do not know where I am going

But, I want to go with the concept of the scene taking place many years after the war between robots and stuff
