I've re-imagined Star Trek with less miraculous tech, no beaming down, more difficult and dangerous FTL, no time travel. The enterprise also has a much smaller crew so the captain joining away teams is more plausible.

Away teams now need more than a brightly coloured jersey and a tri-corder.

I've also imagined a more alien Spock, a stranded space explorer who is rescued and absorbed into the Enterprise's crew.

ok so this went thru ALOT of changes and I took it so far to where I didnt even recognize it...then brought it back some. I like where it ended up, though there is a few more things I wanted to do, I don't want to get lost in tweaking it. hope to see more entries, theres been some really cool ones for sure so far, this one was alot of fun for me.

so, my Star Trek Redux is about a crew of Romulans who have stumbled upon an unknown planet, and discovered an ancient crypt. little do they know that the planet was long ago infested with Borg...

Sweet entries for this Jam everyone! I am really stoked about them and have narrowed them down to a couple really stellar pieces. We'll be making a decision this evening, so if there are still some of you that want to enter some "last minute" images then by all means do that. Again, we are pretty flexible here and we just want to see all of the creative gems out there! So stay tuned and expect an announcement for the winner of this Jam later on this evening! Man the entries were great this time! I really had a tough time with this and talking with the other guys we struggled for sure. We finally decided to go with Nuotatoris and the Klingon Punk Chick!!!! Great image man and good work.

Fredram and AppleCrow, some really really stellar stuff from you guys. I'm glad that you posted those and I hope to see more from you in future jams. Everyone did some great stuff this time and I can't wait until the next one.

Once again, congratulations to Nuotatoris, that Klingon chick is sweet!
