@KapilChauhan...It's fine! But it would be advisable to decrease the size of the final postings.(They are huge)

Had a busy month and can only spare a few hours in this challenge.(Because I loved the challenge)
So I will make a skull slug(grotesque) concept by TwoDD

Johnchen, good point about the head/face. I experimented with different position but could not get the tension I wanted to convey. Not completely successful but this position created the max tension feeling for me, so i stuck with it. Hopefully some angles can reveal more of the character face.
I had been amazed by Lucien Freud works a ways back, did not have them consciously in mind but i can see reference to similarity. He certainly perfected his own idiosyncratic style which included an aspect of the beautiful grotesque. Really captivating portraits.

@Panurge No problems, glad everyone enjoyed this months topic. Your sculpt turned out great, the posed turned out nicely.

@emannick Looks good, good luck!

@Zentrope only 5 hours to go! better get sculpting

I'll be laying down some rules on the size of images in the finals the next round lol.

@KapilChauhan yes, they are fine for this round. I like the texturing on your model, reminds me of Hindu statues, very colorful.

I sadly could not finish, but I will finish what I started and post it somewhere.
Next one I will come up with my concept fast and be more focus.
I still like my idea and I will finish her.
Now let me go vote.
