Here is mine so far. I have been lookin at images about Prject Facade on google. Theres not much there but its enough. I thought i would make him a russian war genereral or soldier that has been in a war and his face is messed up from an explosion and fire. I thought I would have him be saluting and have him crying with one tear down his face.

Rubber Johny! That video freaked me out back in the day... Cant wait to see it finished iime!

Here is my concept and WIP.

I started sketching this little guy after seeing the thread last week at a meeting (bad of me to do that but it got my juices flowing )



Then today at lunch I made this WIP in Sculptris:



As you can see I deviated from the original sketch (To show how important the concept is I guess since I thought it was still fresh in my head. I guess I will redo this initial sculpt in Zbrush instead as I feel Sculptris is a bit limiting despite being an awesome program.

Any crits are more than welcome! I might even start over but I wanted to show something here so please let me know what you guys think, Im very excited as this is my first participation in a challenge here!

Anyway, If I can give ya any crits, I would say that you might have started with the details too soon, try to refine the shapes and areas first. Also, since you are using Zbrush, try using multiple objects (subtools) in your sculpt. Like the eyes and teeth. That will give you more flexibility to work on details later on.

I will take my own advice and try to do the same with my piece once I get Zbrush up and running, don't be afraid to start over if you need to, if you gotten here, you can do it again.
