I wanted to capture the distinctive look of a tight space suit, but also get that great piratey loose coat look. I've got a lot of things I want to work out and it'll be tricky to convey this idea in a single image for a final. But I'm liking it so far.

The idea is a suit that seals to the body by a system of electromagnets in the clothing and pressurized by a backpack to become a space suit. The mask pulls up like a cowl and seals around the underside of the chin. There are a lot of other things I need to flesh out, but I'm happy with the start.

Yes I've been playing rage too much.. anyway dear cghub, this is a wip, many changes to come.
I have been told she looks weak and put too much stuff on herself to look tough but she isn't... any opinion on that or anything else is welcome.
Also not sure about what she is doing with her right hand

@Ogi-C correct me if im wrong, but i think the challenge is to create a female pirate. Nice design by the way.

Everyone elses are also amazing ill make sure to vote in the finals.

I drew this long ago, Im not actually gonna submit this drawing for this challenge, just thought id share and maybe inspire some ideas

I have been having visions of high tech stuntsuits...they are not mecha, more like superhard polymers that provide a type of exoskeleton to the soldier. Produced and designed by high end manufacturers, they are hella hard to find.
Kind of like this suit. Only neater
