Hey everyone getting involved in this one! Love the idea. Decided to change up from the nomads and do the concept on the Kingdom of Branae, im thinking some type of swampy type frogs or turtles but I am not throwing away the idea of doing normal humans short on time today so only got a few real rough ideas out. Im thinking they will be really big on Voodoo and wear alot of bones and feathers, also thinking of a more modernish look kind of like early revolutionary war type of clothing like top hats canes and big frilly dresses for women but make them all muddy and swampy like, also thinking about different types of transportation for them as well but thinking of the people themselves being really frail and relying heavily on their voodoo and pets. Not much but any type of crits are welcome!



@Stuart-Gant- cool start on the "cattle" I like the idea of the cow types better than the turtle makes it seem more desert nomad ish I think the 2nd one with 2 humps looks the best in my opinion but great stuff non the less!

@mr.brown love the large nomads making them almost like giants gives off a peaceful yet powerful look to them, and love the look your getting with them so far keep up the awesome work hopefully I can keep up with all of the great stuff here!

I've been extrapolating ideas from cows, camels, armadillos, and the prehistoric glyptodon. I'm still hunting for a satisfying and unique idea. A couple of the times I had to stop and double check that I wasn't unconsciously copying something I saw on Avatar The last Airbender!

The posts by Mr. Brown pushed me to think a little more elastically about my rough process. thanks dude!

I am curious about the final shot, are we expected to do an illustration with environment and everything? I was thinking of doing a shot of their ritual sacrifice (for the northern kingdom)

The 'Pretty' shot can be anything from a full colour character/creature illustration with a white background or a full landscape ect. It really depends on what you are concepting

Basically the final final image that would given to an Art Director once all the concepts had been through.

More of the kingdom of Branae, working on what the people look like playing around with different ideas and settling for more of a creepier/orc/uruk hai type look but I think I may play around with making them more frail looking rather than these bulky guys I have now. I like the idea of dreadlocks on them and think I may go that route and lots of face paint.
