Time for a new round! Alright so this time we working on a new movie and the director has come to you guys for his new vision, the goal is that there is an alien planet we are visiting and the whole entire world is covered in "crystals" and the main character and his team land their ship in a Crystalline Grove a secluded serene environment with beautiful crystals scattered all around, your goal is to design this grove, they are looking for some really beautiful work here so get the bright colors ready and make everything shiny! Any questions feel free to ask and post WIP we really encourage everyone sharing and critiquing one another! So without further ado.....GET DRAWING!!!

I dig the crystaline look idea but should I try to make organic crystals or should I leave them as they are, making the whole planet a mass of crystals? And lastly should we make the space ship ?

the crystals look is entirely up to you and yes the entire planet is made up of these crystals, and yes make the spaceship/crew if this is supposed to be a scene in a movie and we want everyone to know what is going on but be sure to not make the ship your main focus we want more of an environment opposed to a illustration, hope that helps

Patrik_P- great start patrik cant wait to see more, keep in mind the texture of the crystals and how light reflects upon them, other than that great start!

Here's some update again.
As for crystalls i was thinking those black crystals that dont really "reflect" light of them.
also forgive my silhuette figures, people are not my fortay.

Patrik_P - Looking good! Perhaps break up the shape of some of the crystal mounds, as they look a bit like clones of one another. This would give it some nice visual variety.
