any updates on this? I keep seeing it the last two months on IFX !

Hi everyone, thanks for your continued interest in the CGHUB iOS app! We have finished our beta and are putting the finishing touches and bug fixes in now, and if all goes well should have a release in the Sept-Oct time frame.

There will be an annoucement on the front page when it's ready, so keep an eye out in the next few weeks. Thanks for your patience, we can't wait to release it!

Both the iPad and the iPhone apps are just awesome. The UI is great, you can save images to your device, they look nice. I actually prefer the iPad app to the website now.

However, the iPhone app is not optimized for iPhone 5, and this kind of app would really benefit from the added real-estate. Can we expect an update?

Indeed, an iPhone 5 optimised version would be superb! Especially considering the large number of widescreen pieces of art on CGHub.

Yes! We are very close to our next release, which will include several major updates. We hope to have it ready by the end of Dec. 2012 - early Jan. 2013. Here's what you can expect in the next build:

- iPhone 5 resolution support
- iPhone Notifications when users you are following add new images
- Search Query
- Image tag support
- Additional navigation levels (currently limited to 2 levels deep)
- Inline comments
- Improved full-screen zoom controls
- Full screen bandwidth settings (options to choose what resolution images to load)
- iPad full resolution images in detail view (without going to full screen mode)
- Bug fixes and performance enhancements
