      It's looking good man.

Not sure how far you are with it? I would say a few points if i may. the toggle switch is too big and maybe the wrong shape. I think it is too thick. The body needs to be thicker, these Les pauls are solid heavy mothers! remember the curve to the neck! I think you have to refine the shape of the body.Especially the curve near to the toggle switch, needs to come back in where it mets the neck. Maybe there needs to be a change in the position of the volume/toggle pots and the saddle.

I'm sure this is your initial start, I bet it is going to be awesome.

Look forward to some more updates.

        Thanks for the comments.

I have thickened up the body recently it will show in my next render, the switch is a bit too wide at the top right now but as it is only rough for the moment it is something I can fix later. The neck on my guitar is barely curved at all that's why the model is straight at the moment. The body does need some more shaping and the pots need moving a bit but they are only there as a rough guide right now so I know the scale of everything

Cool dude! I love the les paul, play one myself. Are you creating a custom model that exists or a custom model of your own design in colour and hardware etc. Can't wait to see the outcome either way!

                Update

Worked on the smoothness of the body, put the tone and volume pots into their correct position, got the string holder made at the top of the neck and tuning pegs made.

Mate it really start to take shape. It is a really difficult task you have set yourself here and it is coming along real nice. I do have a few suggestions which you may already be thinking of.

The actual headstock needs to be a lot bigger. Maybe in width more than anything. On the lower part of the guitar where the neck meets the body you would see the heel where the neck thickens out. I take it you are going to add a bridge between the saddle and last pickup. The pickups maybe can stick up a little more than the pickup surroundings. The saddle usually sticks up quite a bit more. I think the volume and tone pots are positioned differently too. The pots are usually alined horizontally almost.

Like I say you probably already have tweaks in mind.

The heel I am already working towards, the tone pots are set in those places on my own guitar and the pickups are also seated inside the housing they dont sit higher. There is a bit more detail I need to add to the pickups however and yeah I am making a bridge where the strings level off. As for the headstock that is pretty much the same size as mine according to my measurements. I may have to snap a pic of my guitar so you can see what I am working from.

                              Update

Made the audio jack and done alot of mesh tweaks, the switch has been scaled correctly the string brace has now been positioned right and moved the pots again slightly for a nicer look IMO.
