Default Hopefully this isn't the wrong place , but questions for animation ?

Hi to anyone who's an animation veteran , I have a few questions that very much need answering . I've never once made an animation , though I have played around a little bit inside of EasyToon , hopefully someone knows what that is . I haven't posted anything , but I hope to someday if someone could maybe point me in the right direction or even get me off on the right foot . I want to know what would be a good way to get into 2D Animation , I'm not as into sculpting and 3D animation as I once was years ago . Now I wish much more to be able to do things like 2D animation . If anyone has any programs that would be good for a beginner , or an experienced user animator , [ I find that much like with playing video games , if you start of with the most extremely daunting difficulty , you're FORCED to learn from the beginning the ins and outs to an expert level , so you don't get used to the tendencies of lower difficulties . ] With that in mind , I'd absolutely love if someone could list a few programs , hopefully from the most difficult and advanced to least , again all of them being for 2D animation . Also , some exercises that could get me off and working . Thank you in advance to anyone whose even read through this boring thing . Hope to hear from someone . <3

The most famous would be Adobe Flash, which is also the most standard piece of software for 2D animation.
But you can also look into Toon Boom which is also a standard.
It got different variants for Professional and Home-users..
Just check the details and choose according to your needs..
