EDIT: How do I scale the images as they are very small?

Hey everyone, some great entries so far : )

I'm currently new to these challenges. I want to participate more often and improve my work. Environments are my weakest area and I really need to beef em up.

Here is studies and roughs to what I currently have at the moment.

Going for a greek esc feel. For some reason when I read the description I imagined this giant bell, to have a deep hum and purify the soul, or something.

I'm going to change the bell though I think, it doesnt quite sit well at the moment.

    cheers!

    Rich.

hey RPARTRIDGE - great sketches.... you have to use the green (clip) button on your toolbar to post them in your message so they appear big. Let me know if it worked!

I've been inspired by these recent posts, great work all round. Definitely going to redo my monastery, not to happy with it. Cutting it close but I'll be sure to have something for the finals tomorrow.

Got inspired by Skellig Michael in Ireland, I think I've got to try and capture that feel of isolation, being off the coast of ireland and all that.

Size: 73.7 KB[/ATTACH]Attachment 78138I was thinking of a monastery that is high up in the mountain having been entrusted with supplying the area with clean water. Thus the Greek Aqueduct design. It was originally supposed to be an aqueduct/great wall mix that doubled as a transportation route and water pipe (one the second level from the top). But I wasn't really able to convey the idea and just dropped the water pipe idea.

              Would appreciate critique/feedback.
